爱相随 [originally performed by Wakin Chau (周华健)]

This song is released in 1995 in his album "Love Follows Us". Wakin Chau has performed multiple signature hits (there are many I could list down) over the past four decades, including "我是真的付出我的爱", "爱相随", and "有没有一首歌会让你想起我". Wakin Chau is a very popular singer especially during the 90s, and had appeared in several variety specials including at least two Star Search finals. Even though I didn't cover any of Chau's songs back in season one, I plan to include several of his hits this season.

爱我的人和我爱的人 [originally performed by Donna Chiu (裘海正)]

This is Donna Chiu's signature song, released in 1994 and is used as the ending theme song for the local drama Fiery Lover (烈火情人). The song explores the protagonist's tragic triangle of emotional conflict - there is an admirer who is willing to give her his everything, but the protagonist has someone else who she actually likes and is suffering because she is worried sick about him.

外婆的澎湖湾 [originally performed at Pan An-bang (潘安邦)]

This is one of the most defining minyao (Taiwanese campus folk songs) songs in the late 70s, and this song is inspired by Pan An-bang's childhood with his grandmother in Penghu. Following Pan's death from kidney cancer in 2013, his childhood home was renamed to the "Pan An-Bang Museum" as a tribute.
