Skye Soon - HarbourFront MRT station - 21 Sep 2025

Meet Skye Soon (@skye.soon), a lifestyle blogger and singer-songwriter who busks in the streets of Singapore. She is an acoustic pop guitarist, putting a fun spin on the latest hits and golden classics, and can usually be found busking at places like Paya Lebar and Empress Place. She also performs at gigs including at Changi Airport, as well as weddings. She put smiles on the faces of people she performs to and gets them grooving to the beat with a sweet voice and a sunny smile.

Hey, Soul Sister (originally performed by Train)

One of the American rock band's more recognizable tunes, this song released in 2009 is an upbeat pop-rock love song about feeling an instant and deep connection with someone special.

Dive (originally performed by Ed Sheeran)

Released in 2017, this song comes from Ed Sheeran's album ÷ (Divide), and is the third song from the album to be covered in the Busking Chase [following Perfect and How Would You Feel (Paean)] (Honestly, after hearing three songs from his same album, I really need his hit, Shape of You, to be covered at this point). It is a pop-soul ballad about wanting total honesty and emotional safety before fully committing to a new relationship.
