A new busking location is open for busking performances in the Kent Ridge area - Geneo Science Park. Located right opposite the National University Hospital (and National University of Singapore, by extension), it is a life sciences and innovation hub managed by CapitaLand. They have workspaces and wet labs, and they even have vibrant retail and F&B options.
The biggest highlight of this building is this indoor Canopy that has a stunning cathedral-like design supported by 25-meter tall timber arches. There is also an amphitheatre that serves as a community hub for events and gatherings. On some days, it is also a busking location, where buskers perform during the lunchtime and after-work hours.
Meet BuskingRobin (@buskingrobinofficial), one of Singapore's well-known street buskers who regularly performs acoustic covers at various locations across the island. He has a repertoire of English and Mandarin songs, from the classics to latest hits, and even Christian and children's songs - performed in his own unique style that stands out from the rest (no, seriously, you should really drop by one of his busking performances). He also wrote his original songs, including heartbreak and celebratory songs such as All This Summer and Finally Finally Finally. He also appeared in the Mediacorp reality singing competition Battle of the Buskers (游走的歌王) as one of the 16 contestants featured in the programme.

- No surprise I chose this as the first song to be covered by Robin, as I did back in Season 1. This is from the band's sixth studio album of the same name, in 1982.
- Demons (originally performed by Imagine Dragons)
- Released in 2013, the lyrics portray the protagonist warning the significant other of their flaws. The song was a commercial success, becoming Imagine Dragons' second top ten single, after "Radioactive".
