Andy Soh - One Holland Village - 14 Sep 2025
Well, I've got one hand in my pocket, and the other one is playin' a piano...
Haven't been able to go to as many street performances in the month of September 2025 - I only managed to cover two busking sessions, plus one PassionArts gig - which means that Sep 2025 is going to come and go before you realize it. Though I'm still gonna post whatever I can and revisit these precious memories, whether they are many or few.
Fields of Gold (originally performed by Sting)
This is a single from Sting's fourth studio album "Ten Summoner's Tales", released in 1993 (if you haven't already known, he was the lead vocalist of the band The Police). It is a slow-paced pop ballad that reflects a couple's journey from early courtship and falling in love, and then facing the later stages of life.
Hand in My Pocket (originally performed by Alanis Morissette)
Released in 1995, this alt-rock song juxtaposes exploring optimism amidst daily inner conflicts, and is about embracing life's contradictions, the acceptance of uncertainty and that one does not need to have everything figured out to be okay.
