Ng Keh Eng - One Holland Village - 25 Mar 2025
On the Busking Chase, I sometimes feature a couple of little-known buskers, with an aerophone busker being one of them.

Have you heard of an aerophone?
It is a musical instrument that produces sound primarily by the vibration of air. Wind instruments, such as flutes, saxophones and trumpets. Recently there is a new type of aerophone that is electronic, combining the traditional wind instrument with technology, letting the user play a wide range of onboard sounds e.g. sax, flute, even synth sounds, and are designed to be user-friendly (portability, simple fingering system). And here, you can find one such busker, Ng Keh Eng (@melodious_aerophone), belting out harmonious tunes with his digital aerophone.

The song I've picked from this busking session is:
- I Believe [originally performed by Shin Seung-hun (신승훈)]
- This is the theme song for the Korean romantic comedy film My Sassy Girl (엽기적인 그녀; Yeopgijeogin geunyeo), performed by Shin, who is known as the "Emperor of Ballads" back in the 1990s. This song also has a Mandarin version, performed by Van Fan. Of note, this song is the first Korean song to be featured in Season 2 of the Busking Chase.
