Today we continue to chase after Evan, who had returned from his convention trip to Okinawa, and then his vacation break across Europe.

Prior to the Papaya Duck concert on 15 March 2025, Evan was invited by his company for a convention trip to Okinawa where he and his teammates enjoyed the sights of Okinawa as well as traditional Okinawan cuisine. This includes the Churaumi Aquarium - did you know the Kuroshio sea tank was one of the largest aquarium tanks in the world? Though more recent aquarium tanks had caught up and surpassed the Kuroshio sea tank.

And then, sometime in late February, Evan had gone for a well-deserved vacation break across Europe (the Netherlands, Finland, Estonia, Italy) after all that busking. Even musicians need breaks to recharge for the next gig or busking session, probably get some inspiration for their next single. He bumped into some colleagues from Rovaniemi during his trip, and also met a busker in Rome named Caffa and hit it off, with Caffa finding him an open mic to play at. I'm not going to delve too much into his Europe trip but you can find his Okinawa and Europe travels on his Instagram profile (@evantellstories). Hopefully, he might have gotten some inspiration for his new single, so fingers crossed on that. 🤞

- Of note, this is first song I have picked to be the first Jay Chou song in Busking Chase Season 2. The King of Mandopop has the most songs featured in Season 1 - 14 songs in total, and 17 if you include those songs he has written for other singers. This song describes the longing of salvaging a relationship, and Chou, citing inspiration from the emotional stories of his fans, hopes that through this song, he can encourage his fans to bravely pursue their love and never to give up. This was a song first released in 2004, with its music video taken in the streets of Vladivostok.
浪费 [originally performed by Yoga Lin (林宥嘉)]
- This is the theme song of the local drama series 2589 Days Apart (2589的距离) (2017), and is also is the first Yoga Lin song to be covered in Busking Chase Season 2.
